Motoreta AW17: We are Nature

Motoreta’s new Autumn Winter 17|18 collection’s shapes and prints were inspired by the connection between nature, fashion, architecture and land art. The authors are trying to express their idea, that learning to live by nature’s design is our only hope for the future generations. 

The authors wanted to pay tribute to the land art movement artists Nancy Holt, Walter de Maria or Andy Goldsworthy whose work is based on the relation between nature and art. The result is strong prints, abstract graphics and colors extracted directly from nature that tell us about landscape and our relation with earth . 

The colour pallet of the collection includes shades of green, blue, black, maroon, white and grey, in the form of stripes, dots, geometries and organic forms. 

The key pieces of the collection are dresses detailed with frills, but also the unisex coat of the straight cut available in two colour combinations - green and black melange.

New feature for Motoreta is the tulle underskirt which helps to add structure to some of the dresses.

One of the most interesting pieces for us is the retro "bubble" skirt, available in two color combinations - green landscape print and burgundy with black dots.
