Little Creative Factory SS17: Nomads

For some time there has been stirring deep within us, a thousand questions assail us, until all of a sudden we feel the need to leave our comfort zone, our easy and predictable day to day, our monotonous and sedentary life. Our frontiers, real and imaginary, suffocate us, they oppress and invade our being, blocking our energy and eclipsing our very essence. It's time to move on, to allow ourselves to be carried away by our instincts and enjoy the freedom, the silence and the gifts that nature bestows upon us. It is the moment to feel alive and meet again with our purest self, with our nomadic spirit.

And it is here, far from the madding crowd, surrouned by the dunes and silence that we make out a small silhouette. From the top of the dune, the profile of a nomadic girl appears. A small shadow approaching slowly, but with a strong and determined step. Suddenly she stops, looks around her, allows her body and soul to fuse with the surroundings, she is filled with light and energy. She enjoys the moment, the silence. We watch her. We can feel the freedom and fulfillment that permeates  this wandering soul. We are the accidental witness of a perfect picture.

Inspired by the spirit of the Nomad, as a synonymous of the freedom, movement and adventure, Little Creative Factory has traveled to Agafay desert to present its SS17 collection. A versatile range full of colors and patterns, extravagantly voluminous oversize garments and textures, all designed to allow our little beings to play and be carried away by their imagination.

The fabrics, linens and cottons, all 100% natural, giving the clothes a billowy, flowing, soft, comfortable feel and keeping little nomads cool when temperatures rise, protecting them from the sun and wind. The clothes are designed to be boldly mixed, matched and layered, to create daring and surprising looks.

The color spectrum is a palette of contrasts: saffron carries us away to a world of smells and flavours, the natural green takes us to virgin landscapes where the passage of time and the climate are the only things to have left their mark. The color cream, a timeless color brings light and energy to the collection. The stripsy pastel prints reflect the nomadic style and contrast with the flowing, monochrome garments that dance in the wind.

The foulard that comes in a range of colors is this season's 'must have', and provide our little nomads playing under a scorching sun with the necessary protection.

‘Why is man the most unsettled and unsatisfied animal on the Earth? Could it be that the species was born to be nomadic and not sedentary? Might it be that if man were to migrate with the seasons, he would actually live more in harmony with nature and himself – as his predecessors did?

The nomadic people see the world as a perfect thing – whilst the sedentary ones are permanently trying to change things. Was Pascal right when he said that human misfortune was caused by one thing only, the incapability of man to remain still in a room?’

The collection has been awarded with the MILK Magazine Best SS17 Kids Fashion Collection Prize (Paris, June 2016) and MILK Japan Fashion award SS17.

Welcome to Nomads where Little Creative Factory invites you to look within yourself to nurture your nomadic essence, this essence of movement that is key to our survival, our freedom, fulfillment and happiness.
